Cobwebs in the Ballroom
It's dazzling days are done my darling
It's waltzes have all waltzed
It's last drink has been served my darling
The orchestra has stopped
Revolving doors are still my darling
The lobby's left forlone
It's windows and it's doors my darling
are open to wind's moan
Where once we had our tryst my darling
Where once we pledged our vows
The Bridal suite is dark my darling
Still darker are its bows
It stands bleak upon a hill my darling
Bleak, ruin 'gainst the sky
The key's we had won't fit my darling
It's locks have rusted dry
It's corridors are 'lone my darling
As empty as the tomb
It's grandeur has all gone my darling
It's corpse just skin and bone
